Growing by significant margins, Facilities Show 2018 attracted 7% more visitors than Facilities Show 2017. Now in its 19th year, Facilities Show continues to reaffirm its status as a leading global event for facilities managers as it successfully champions the industry.
Facilities Show 2018 welcomed over 12,000 visitors and 280+ exhibitors. As a show that responds to the FM industry’s needs, Facilities Show 2018 welcomed a brand new Occupational Health and Wellbeing Zone to support the industry’s shift towards looking after worker mental health and wellbeing. In addition, the show welcomed the BIFM Smart Client Programme, which equipped FM’s with the procurement and contract management tools to reduce risk and improve quality through strategic sourcing. Also new to 2018 was the FM Sports Bar, where FMs kicked back during the world cup and discussed the highlights of their days.
It comes as no surprise that the meetings service thrived in its second year, with a total number of 767 meetings between suppliers and exhibitors being pre-arranged, proving the show to be the perfect place for every FM to do business.
Chris Edwards, Brand Director, Facilities Show commented, “I can say with certainty that this has been a truly incredible event – 2018 saw a new level of buzz on the show floor. The sentiment from visitors and exhibitors has been really positive, which is a testament to the show’s growth. The show is here to welcome thousands of FMs to network, be inspired and discover the latest smart solutions – and that’s exactly what happened over the course of 3 days.”
