Increased support for buildings that require non-invasive ground improvements

Innovative ground engineering specialist, Mainmark, is delighted to announce that it has recently enhanced its UK division by welcoming two of its long-standing overseas experts to the British team. The enhancement will help Mainmark to expand the support provided to commercial and residential property owners that require ground improvements with minimal intrusion and interruption to occupants.

Robbie Blanchfield and Victor Chirilas both relocated from Christchurch, New Zealand and will be joining Mainmark’s Milton Keynes office where their extensive knowledge and wealth of experience in the industry will help support and develop the UK offering.

Mainmark, the Australian provider of advanced ground engineering technologies, officially launched the UK division three years ago, bringing non-invasive and cost-effective solutions for foundation repairs and ground improvement to businesses and residential property owners across the country. The business aims to help preserve assets in residential, industrial, commercial, civil engineering and infrastructure situations, through a  range of revolutionary products, including; Teretek®, a proprietary hi-tech resin injection solution that can be used to re-level and re-support an existing structure with minimal intrusion or disruption; and JOG Computer-Controlled Grouting, an advanced cement grout system used to strengthen ground beneath large or complex structures under precise computer control.

Victor Chirilas, Mainmark’s Operational Manager, commented: “This is a great opportunity to bring our knowledge and expertise to a relatively new market. We understand that customers require minimal intrusion and disruption for occupants when making necessary ground improvements. Traditional underpinning can often be costly, particularly when it comes to the effects of unavoidable disruption.  Mainmark’s products are designed to overcome this issue by providing a non-invasive remediation.”

Robbie Blanchfield, Commercial Manager at Mainmark, concluded: “We’re looking forward to growing Mainmark’s UK branch and view Britain as an important market for the business. We’ve heavily invested in our team to ensure we can successfully support both business and residential property owners. Our help and advice has already been welcomed here by building owners that require ground improvement and re-levelling, in the same way that it has been in regions across the globe for many years.”
