Delta Security has installed a remotely-monitored intruder alarm and access control solution to protect customers and staff at three new London stores of the national e-cigarette and Vape brand, Cigara.
Established in just 2012, Cigara has grown rapidly with a total of 18 nationwide stores.
The system features easy to use Galaxy Honeywell alarm panels that are ideally suited to retail environments. The panels integrate with an access control system using secure (i.e. non-cloneable) fobs.
A Cigara spokesperson says they sought a credible, knowledgeable and reliable London-based security company:
“When asking for recommendations Delta Security’s name came up again and again,” he explains. “We wanted the same system as we have in our other 15 outlets, because we know it works well. Delta had an excellent knowledge of the products and was able to install on time, and to budget.”
In addition to being competitively priced, the Cigara spokesperson says Delta has expert technical knowledge:
“Four days before one store was due to open, an issue arose with the lock for our electric roller shutters. A number of other security firms informed me it would take two weeks to fix, but Delta came up with an alternative solution that resolved the problem in just two days. This approach is invaluable to retail businesses such as Cigara.”
With seven more stores planned to open in London, the Cigara spokesperson is confident he has found the right security partner:
“From the senior management to the engineers and office-based staff, everyone at Delta is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, organised and able to accommodate last minute requests!”
The intruder alarm is monitored 24/7 by Custodian Monitoring Services from its alarm receiving centre (ARC) in Nottingham.
