 Betco
UK launches ‘under five minute’ deep gloss, seal and
shine system
New to the UK is Betco Express, a proven floor seal and shine
system which will be dry and ready to walk on in five minutes.
It provides a deep ‘wet look’ shine second to none.
Already proven and extensively used by the American cleaning profession,
Betco Express dries in approximately 15% of the time taken by
other systems. This allows the operator to apply several coats
in under an hour - depending on depth of shine required –
thus returning the store, airport terminal, school, hospital or
office to normal use in record time.
Betco Express minimises down time, reduces labour costs and can
be applied whilst premises are occupied with minimum disruption.
This system provides a range of environmentally friendly floor
sealer gloss coats with their own Quick Coat patented applicator
wand and back pack. It is very easy to use and comfortable for
the operator.
The Betco system requires minimal training. To obtain the best
results floors must be dust free and thoroughly cleaned prior
to application. It can be applied to all hard floor surfaces including
vinyl and plastic floor tiles, terrazzo, Amtico etc.
No waste
Waste is eliminated as there is no mixing required and applying
the product onto the mop head is trigger controlled by the user.
The Betco system is unlike any other floor finish as it is supplied
in a 1.25 gallon ready mixed polybag that fits snugly into the
back pack. One gallon will cover up to 5000 sq ft of floor.
Unlike products applied
by the traditional ‘mop and bucket’ method, there
is no opportunity to incorrectly mix it or have waste product
thrown away after use – it is all pre-mixed, pre-sealed
and residue is automatically saved for the next job.
The patented applicator which includes a drip free mop head is
designed to remove any drips or bubbles which regularly occur
with traditional systems.
Washing the wand, mop and feeder tube is easily completed under
cold running water with no worry of creating an environmental
hazard.
David Shaw, Managing Director of Betco UK Ltd said when announcing
the UK launch: “I first saw this product at the American
ISSA show
last year and could not believe its amazing application and drying
times. I have already organised trials in a large Woolworth’s
store where we completed four coats with a time saving of around
35%.”
The market for the Betco system will include all business and
away from home situations. David added: “This is ideal for
very busy places such as retail, airports and particularly hospitals
where downtime must be minimal as they are in constant use. It
will be an instant hit with contractors who are always working
within time restrictions.”
